Building Major and Minor Triads

You know how to build chords by selecting root and quality. Now practice building triads from scratch with audio feedback. Each exercise gives you a root note and a triad type — your job is to select the correct root, third, and fifth from the note grid.

The key is knowing the semitone formula for each triad type: major (0-4-7), minor (0-3-7), diminished (0-3-6), and augmented (0-4-8). The third determines the quality (major or minor), and the fifth determines stability (perfect, diminished, or augmented).
