Learn to identify chord qualities by ear with this progressive course. Each lesson introduces new chord qualities, building from the basic major vs minor distinction up through complex seventh and extended chords.

Each lesson has 10 questions: listen to the chord, then pick the correct quality. Score 70% or higher to unlock the next lesson. Your progress is saved automatically so you can pick up where you left off.

Start with the two most common qualities (major and minor), then gradually add diminished, augmented, seventh chords, and more. By the end of the course you will be able to distinguish all the essential chord qualities by ear alone.
